John Everest has over 20 years of experience with business, education and nonprofit organizations, and his uniquely diverse experience allows him to design development processes that best meet the unique needs of each person and organization he works with.  

In addition, John utilizes the broad skill set available to him through experienced and highly regarded local and national colleagues. His results-oriented and innovative approaches enable clients to tap into their hidden potential and achieve outcomes once thought to be out of reach.


Everest Associates History 
John Everest has provided training, coaching and consulting services for individuals, primary and secondary schools, colleges, nonprofit and business organizations. In addition to his work with Everest Associates, John’s roles in organizations in paid and volunteer positions has included:

John began Everest Associates in collaboration with experienced and successful local, regional and national colleagues while earning his Master's degree in Organization and Management from Antioch University New England in Keene, New Hampshire in 2006. 

College Teaching 
John is passionate about working with adult learners having graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University System of New Hampshire's adult degree college (now called Granite State College) with a B.S. in Behavioral Science, followed up with a masters degree in Organization and Management from Antioch New England Graduate School.  

John helps current students achieve success through teaching at Community College of Vermont and Granite State College on such topics as Effective Workplace Communication, Effecting Positive Change in Organizations, Conflict Resolution, Interpersonal & Small Group Communications, Macroeconomics, Introduction to College Learning, Dimensions of Freedom and Effective Speaking.

Depending on the client’s needs, John often taps his professional experience using results oriented experiential learning tools and techniques from his years as a consultant with Project Adventure and as an Instructor at Outward Bound.
